White rose - Chapter 8
(Tuesday, 30 August 2011 / 10:30 /
)
Soo Am waited for him to go on, but it seems like thats where his sentence ended. He didn't continue, instead, he kept on playing with the white roses and a smile finally roses onto his lips. That probably made her felt a little bit more secure to get to know him better. "I don't mind listening to it," she insisted. Sandeul faced her and his heart suddenly started to bloom as the story behind the white rose that caught his enthusiasm. That trapped his interest like a hurricane; not knowing when to stop, or when it started.
"I still remember like it was yesterday..."

[ Flashback ]
"YAHH! Stupid rose! Why do you have to have thorns!? Yaishh.." Sandeul whined. Out of all people in the entire student body, he's the one that got stuck in the job he hated most. The kind of job he can't seem to fit in. It was his turn to take care of the school's garden. And it looks like it has been left out for days and wasn't in anyone's concern at all. Not even the teachers. It would be a waste if he just left the flowers wilt just like that 'cause it looked like the flowers can still be save. Especially the white roses. So it was like, Sandeul to the rescue.
But, though with good intentions and a determine spirit, he still can't handle them alone. Though he tried, but he kept on falling into the same hole. Epic fail. "I knew I should have left it alone.. Man, this is torture," he groaned again. His own words may sounded harsh, but he kept on going. He has to finish what he started. So its no use backing out now.
Sandeul was about to take one of the white roses out, but he always forgot about the thorns even though he is constantly being attack with the pain. He just doesn't seem to learn his lesson. Determine, but stubborn.
Sandeul nearly gave up, until someone came and tapped his shoulder. Unwillingly, he turned his head with that irritated face of his. Thus, right in front of him, a figure of a beautiful, but a bit short stood upon him. Soft black hair, slightly brown but still pretty. Believe it or not, she seemed to be irritated as well, "Thats not how you treat nature. Looks like you're not the kind of person that communicates with nature that well, apparently," she spoke.
Major heartbreak much. Sandeul rolled his eyes and shrugged. "Maybe so. If you're such a smarty pants, show me how then," he challenged her. That didn't bother her one bit. In fact, she even smiled. "Doubting my ability are you? Get your notepads ready. I'm only gonna do this once," she said. Sandeul grinned and just nodded to whatever she says. Silently, he watched her every move. Every kind of step she made, he tried to memorize. Especially the part where he always end up getting hurt - how to handle a rose, delicately. Well, thats how she puts it.
After a while, Sandeul just got interested all of a sudden. The kind of aura she made, the love she showed and how she cherished the flower kind of struck him like an arrow. Aiming directly into his soul. "I didn't know flowers are fragile," he gave her a hint of his interest. Good thing she noticed and nodded. "They are. Thats why love always needs to go first when you're with nature," she advised him.
The situation between them started to bloom. Its amazing how one innocent rose can bring two people together. Not long after that, the school bell rang. Class time. The girl got up and fixed her clothes. She looked at Sandeul and gave him the most heart-capturing smile he had ever laid his eyes on. "Will I see you again?" the girl asked him. Without any further hesitation, he nodded and shake her hand. "It was great talking to you," she continued and was about to head to class.
Sandeul suddenly remembered and called the girl before she was completely gone from the scene. Thank God, he wasn't too late. "Hey! You! What's your name?" he asked her. She stopped and looked at him again.

Sandeul paused and laughed weakly to himself. Soo Am who was listening to his every word, who was paying her full attention to the story got annoyed and hit him slowly. "Well? Who is she? Don't just go and put a break like that..." she forced him to just blurt out who she is. He was still smiling, and a tear suddenly rolled down his cheeks. "That girl.. is Bibim."
